The Drey Meine Memorial Scholarship Fund is a Soccer Fund designed to provide families Financial Assistance and the ability for children to participate in the Worthington Soccer Program.

The Drey Meine Memorial Scholarship Fund was established By the Fred Meine Family as a tribute to their son who lost his life way too early.

Drey Meine grew up in the Worthington Soccer program playing soccer at an early age, participating in Recreation Soccer, Middle Tier Soccer, Worthington United, refereeing in Worthington Soccer and played High School Soccer at Thomas Worthington High School.

Fred Meine was heavily involved in the Worthington Soccer program, serving as a Commissioner, Program Director for Middle Tier Soccer, Referee, and Field Coordinator.

Worthington Soccer is very appreciative to the family for establishing this fund, and strive to honor the legacy for which this fund was established. We have continued to fund this financial aid program within our program and have directed several sponsors to donate to this program.

We are now including the entire Worthington Soccer program to support our mission of being able to offer programming and financial assistance to any Worthington Soccer player who wants to play at any level of Soccer in Worthington.
